and expeditions which give you the chance to work and
compete with other young aspiring scientists.

Hopkins Pre-College Program: John Hopkins University,
This five-week residential summer program allows students
to gain college credit and academic experience while
taking undergraduate courses at John Hopkins University.
University PreCollege Program: Bethlehem, PA
Lehigh University offers these academic year, summer
outreach, and pre-college programs for K-12 students

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) offers a wide
variety of research training and career development
programs for high schoolers that provide stipend or
salary support for various periods of time.
Days Math and Science Camp For Girls: Echo Hill Outdoor
The one week session is designed to accommodate students
planning to enter sixth through ninth grade, who have
different backgrounds and level of skill, and who all
share a common enthusiasm for math and science. The
goal is to improve their confidence, strengthen their
skills, and have fun while helping them learn about
possible careers in these fields.
School Honors Program: Boston University, Boston, MA
Boston University invites high school students who are
rising seniors to participate in their annual High
School Honors Program. Students who apply choose
between the General Honors Program and the
Research Internship Program in Science and Engineering.
Introduction to Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Science:
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA
Minority Introduction to Engineering, Entrepreneurship,
and Science (MITE2S) is a rigorous six-week residential
summer program that introduces promising high school
juniors to engineering, science, and entrepreneurship.
Science Institute: Massachusetts Institute of Technology,

The Boston University Summer Challenge Program
is a two-week, non-credit college preparatory program
for current high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.
Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Programs for Middle and
High School Girls: WPI, Worcester, MA
These programs are specially designed for middle and
high school girls who are interested in pursuing science
as a career.
in Science: southeastern KY
Girls entering 7th grade can apply to this two-year
program which includes a week-long summer camp at the
University of Kentucky, Saturday Academies throughout
the school year, and mentoring relationships.
Summer Camp: Austin, TX
Girlstart offers week-long summer day camps
in math, science and technology for girls in the 4th
through 9th grades at the Girlstart Tech Center
in Austin, Texas.
In Applied Science and Engineering (WISE): Arizona State
University at Tempe
WISE promotes engineering as a career option
though a variety of fun events, as well as day and year-long
programs, for girls who are in middle and high school
(entering 6th - 12th grades).
